One reason why I love the country of Brazil so much is that they have an annual national booty contest and the online voting is underway right now to crown Miss Bumbum Brasil 2013. I have been to the country one time for 10 days about six years ago and I can tell you from experience they have some of the most beautiful people I have ever seen on their beaches. When you go to the beach there, everyone is active either playing kadima, soccer, volleyball or a version of volleyball that is played with your feet like soccer. The people there are very fit and as is widely known the ladies have nice butts that they show off on topless beaches in thong bikinis!
The Miss Bumbum Brasil will see millions of voters head online to cast their vote for who they think most represents the country’s idea of the perfect butt. I love that about Brazil, the people just like to have fun and are free spirits always looking to enjoy life. You can see this sort of personality in Brazilian bikini models like Jessica Canizales and Andressa Lopes. Both girls are drop dead gorgeous, both are down to earth, fun to be around and free spirited.
Last year’s contest saw Brazilian model Rosana Ferreira win first place and she collected a cool $5,000 for having the best butt, second place won $3,000 and third place receives $2,000 for their efforts. Clearly these girls cannot quit their day jobs, but (no pun intended) the exposure and appearance fees across the country will certainly push their potential earnings into the six figures.
Now get this, one contestant in the Miss Bumbum Brasil 2013 beauty pageant had to submit to an X-ray to prove that her butt was real. Cibelle Riberio was almost disqualified after rumors surfaced that Riberio’s rump were really implants. The rumor turned into a full blown scandal when reports began to surface that Cibelle refused to be X-rayed to prove her butt was real. Eventually, she relented and was reinstated and is currently the favorite to win the top prize. Certainly, all the extra publicity surrounding the butt implants gave her more exposure and probably a few sympathy votes.
Over 500 competitors entered the Miss Bumbum Brasil 2013 Contest, right now they are trying to narrow down the field from 27 (one from each of Brazil’s Federative Units) to 15 via online voting. The Top 15 candidates will travel to São Paolo (the nation’s capital) in November to compete for title.
