Earlier in the week, gorgeous North Florida model and 2013 Maxim Hometown Hottie hopeful Megan Furlow and BikiniTeam.tv photographer Greg Hunter were able to do a photo shoot on Ormond Beach. Make sure to VOTE for Megan in the Hometown Hotties Contest here.
Megan has been featured in Bossman Magazine as well as in campaign for Blackstone Apparel but is really just getting started in the print side of the industry. Furlow is a very popular promotional model in North Florida and does a ton of model workshops with photographers such as Anthony Neste. She had reached out to us via our online contact form and when we saw the photos she sent us we knew we wanted to meet up with her immediately.
As it turns out, the morning of the shoot was a bit overcast but that did not stop Megan and Greg from getting some great images. The surfers on the beach that day took their time getting into and out of the water as they enjoyed watching the photo shoot unfold. Checkout the Megan Furlow Bikini Model Photos by Greg Hunter and you can see why the surfers were so distracted.
“Megan was very sweet and super easy to direct and has a supermodel face,” stated BikiniTeam.tv photographer Greg Hunter. “She actually just signed with Michele & Group (i’m redoing their website at the moment) – We are already planning a second shoot when she gets back from vacation. She’s a new favorite!”
After the photo shoot we did a quick interview to find out more about Megan Furlow:
Q: When did you start modeling and how were you discovered?
I’ve always wanted to model, just never really knew how to get in with the right people. I started about a year ago and I think this year has by far best the best for me yet! Anthony Neste has been a huge mentor for me and has definitely helped shaped me into being a better model!
Q: How excited were you when you found out you were selected for Week 4 voting in the 2014 Maxim Hometown Hottie Contest?
Honestly I was hysterical and couldn’t stop smiling! All my hard work was starting to pay off and for once I had something to show for! It’s one of the greatest feelings in the world to be chosen for a well known magazine, and I wish all the girls competing the best of luck!
Q: Tell us about your shoot with BikiniTeam.TV photographer Greg Hunter?
My shoot with Greg went great! He was very helpful and pointed me in the right directions. After we got settle and started to shoot everything was smooth sailing. Minus the early morning wake up, I was so glad that the sunrise was beautiful and definitely worth waking up for!
Q: Where would you go on your Dream Vacation and Why?
My dream vacation would be somewhere in paradise! Bora Bora has always looked like the place to be!
Q: What has been your favorite place on the planet to shoot and why?
I’m born and raised in Florida and shooting on the beach has always been very comforting for me. If the weather is nice and the sun is shining count me in!
Q: What is your favorite swimwear company or companies and why do you like their swimsuits?
I would love to shoot bikinis with some companies like Montoya Swimwear, Capristan Swim, Sweet Revenge Bikinis, Teeny Bikini, Peach Buns. Hint hint!
Q: Tell us something interesting about yourself that most people do not know (the quirkier, the better!)?
I’m definitely quite the klutz! If there’s something to be dropped, tripped, or ran into… I’m your girl! I also can be quite a goofball.
Q: Where can we see you next? Do you have any upcoming events, photo shoots or appearances that your fans can see you at soon?
I hope to be walking in Miami’s Fashion Week next! And of course hope to keep building and shooting my portfolio is a must! Bikini Team TV was such a great opportunity for me and maybe more to come!
