Back in late June, BikiniTeam.tv got a chance to meet and do a photo/video shoot with first runner up Francesca Ruffino of after she was named to the Top 5 in the 2013 Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
“I met Francesca in a flash,” stated BikiniTeam.tv Co-Founder John Neyrot. “I had to shoot her really quick because she needed to shoot some footage for the calendar. Francesca was super nice and a very sweet girl. She knew how to move in front of the camera. I absolutely loved the Leopard bikini she wore for the shoot.”
I noticed Francesca when all of the Hooters Girls were showcasing their Evening Gowns. She had this flowing red dress that stood out to me right away. Then she came back with a flowing Hometown outfit as well.
Both of her looks during the Pre-Pageant party really popped.
After Francesca was named the 1st runner up, I got to walk her from our shoot area to where all the other girls were shooting for the Hooters Calendar which gave me the chance to talk with Francesca a bit more. She was very friendly, had an awesome personality and was very happy to be named 1st Runner up.
Here is what Hooters Magazine had to say about Francesca Ruffino before the pageant started: “This brown-eyed beauty is a genuine, intelligent young lady with a pleasant manner and a wonderful personality. Francesca is passionate about everything she does and has a great work ethic. She dreams of becoming a fitness model so she can travel the world.”

Q: How excited were you when you found out you would be competing in Vegas for the Miss Hooters 2013 International Swimsuit Pageant Title (tell us about your qualifying experience)?
I was speechless! I was so thankful for being selected as a representative for Hooters of Cape Coral. I competed in two local bikini contests and finished first in both, which played a factor into contestant selection for my Hooters franchise.
Q: Describe your Hometown Outfit?
I was a “Coral Goddess” from Cape Coral. This outfit represented my hometown with its bright colors and sea life.
Q: What is the most memorable moment of your time in Vegas (Not including Placing in the Top 5)?
The most memorable moment was when I first walked in front of the panel of judges at the pre pageant and Audrina Patridge and Jay Williams pointed at me, looked at each other and then smiled. I got chills!
Q: What was going through you mind when you were selected in the Top 10?
When I was selected into the top ten I was surprised, yet excited! I just wanted to make my family, friends and my Hooters franchise proud. And when I heard my name called, I knew they were just as excited as I was.
Q: What future plans do you have coming up, where can we see you next?
My plan for this next year involves some traveling while continuing to take online classes at Florida Gulf Coast University. I really just want to enjoy this time of my life and be as involved as possible with Hooters. My next venture includes going to Nicaragua and working with Self Help International to see how they have affected the families there in positive ways.
